Costal Gothic Reading Group
Hosted by an excellent team of PGR and ECR researchers, the Haunted Shores Reading Group meets monthly to discuss a variety of texts from various mediums alongside critical works.
The next Coastal Gothic Reading Group session will be in May 2022 on Seaweed. For more information on the reading group, email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
In previous meetings we discussed Shakespeare’s The Tempest and postcolonial adaptations including Nalo Hopkinson’s “Shift” (2011) in August 2021, Nautical Crime, Caribbean Coastal Gothic, The sea and wellbeing, Cornish Coastal Gothic, and Dracula Shipwreck. In June we met to discuss Aquatic Hybrids.
